Just Kate
We are going to a last minute get together with some church friends tonight and have been asked to bring an appetizer (everyone is bringing appetizer). I will have time to stop by the store today, but not much time for preparation. Give me your best (easy) suggestions!!!
Mom28kds
Meatballs are quick. Buy some frozen meatballs throw them in a pan with some BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Stir and heat til meatballs are thawed and hot.
KatieJ
Borsein cheese or cream cheese. Put on a plate, and dump a jar of pepper relish over it. Serve with crackers. Cream cheese topped with cocktail sauce and then a can of mini shrimp. Crackers. Chicken wings. Season with garlic salt and paprika for color or Lawry's. Bake following directions on bag. Ottakee
Taco rollups 1 packet taco seasoning mix 1 8oz cream cheese 1 can refried beans Mix that together and spread on flour tortillas (warm in microwave a few seconds to made them easier to roll), sprinkle with finely shredded cheese, and roll up. Chill and slice either into 1 inch slices or into 1/3. Serve with salsa. I never get to take any of these home.
ThisIsTheDay
Not sure what I was going to originally suggest, as I saw that meatball idea and thought YES!!!!!! Soooo easy, and sooooo good; not very expensive either. I do it in a crockpot. It's not something I would choose for a ladies-only function, but kids and men will come back for seconds and thirds . . .
JFSinIL
I like to grab cheery tomatoes, slice and core them to make "cups" and plop in some canned crab meat mixed with a little mayo, lemon juice, finely chopped celery. Or seasoned whipped (to be light and not rip the tomatoes) cream cheese. Pita chips and hummus are even quicker.
