Aspasia
We got dd a dollhouse for Christmas and now I need dolls. I don't care for Barbie. I'm on the fence about the Melissa & Doug dolls--I think there adorable but dd might not think they're pretty enough  What else is there? The Fisher Price Loving Family dolls seem kinda pricey, and they look kinda creepy....
stripe
I used to have a mouse family in mine. :)
Ottakee
I was going to say the Loving Family. They hold up to a LOT of play.
daffodil
We got this dollhouse family for Christmas last year--here and here. (No affiliation with the blog, just found it by googling!) I think they're cuter in person. Unfortunately, I haven't been to Target in a while so I'm not sure if they're still available. We also love our Only Hearts Club dolls. They're just big and little sisters though, not a whole family.
Aurelia
DD still likes her Loving Family dolls, and she's had them for 3-4 years, I think. Another option is Calico Critters. They're animals dressed in clothes.

janie_ranae
My daughter has played with Loving Family dolls for years. She is 8 and still plays with them daily. My 5 year old son will often play with her. There are a lot of neat accessories, sets, and furniture you can buy.
