chickenpatty
It keeps my kids busy for hours, so it is worth every bit of clean-up. :iagree: Plus we have no carpet in our house, so that helps. :)
Aspasia
People hate play doh??? I love it because it's good for hours of awesome, healthy play. I was clean-up can be a bit of a pain, but it's brief and definitely worth it for the good parts.
IsabelC
Never really considered my attitude towards playdough before. To me, making it is just something you do if you have young kids. Like feeding them or reading to them. I think I would have felt somehow guilty if I'd never made playdough! But yeah it's a pretty good an inexpensive way of amusing them. Admittedly it can get messy, but kids in general are messy so meh, whatever.
anabelneri
Another vote for the homemade... ours has cinnamon mixed in during the fall, so it smells happily seasonal. We only use it at a low table in the kitchen, but it can occupy my young'un for hours. I didn't like it at all when our kitchen was too small for a table and the rest of the house was carpeted. But the stuff is brilliant in the right environment. :)
