ProudGrandma
My kids love those creator lego kits where they give you step by step directions to make something...are there any books that do that sort of thing using a bunch of random lego bricks? Arcadia
I don't know of any book with step by step instructions. However if you use Lego Digital Designer (free) on the PC or Mac to create something, it can generate a step by step instruction book for you. Farrar
We like the Lego Technic Ideas books, but they're only good if you have the motors and technic pieces. Also, The Lego Ideas book is fun and doesn't have instructions, but does get you thinking. Edited November 9, 2012 by farrarwilliams

My kids checked that one out from the library and have gotten a lot of good ideas from it.
