Common Core Math help

Alright, I'm confused. I downloaded some math worksheets for fun that are Thanksgiving themed and are supposed to be common core based. I chose the 4th grade version b/c the 3rd grade version seemed too easy for where we are in BA and was just single digit multiplication type problems.

But...I opened up the 4th grade sheets and they are fraction to decimal conversions, and decimal comparisons. Huh?!? I've looked through Singapore, MM, and BA 3A-3C, and I haven't seen any decimal work at all even through 4A of both Singapore and MM. Large numbers, sure. Double-digit multiplication, sure. But are 4th graders really supposed to have covered decimals by this point in the year? If so, why doesn't this material appear in the other curriculums? I thought Singapore was keyed to the CA standards which were supposed to be higher than Common Core?

Anyone want to fill me in?

4B introduces decimals right at the start, and it does go through all 4 operations, conversion to/from fractions, rounding and comparison of decimals, etc. I expect the guidlines just specify what's to be done each year - not really 'by when' in that year it's to be done.

I get it, but I wouldn't expect worksheets designed for November of the 4th grade year to contain concepts from 4B which is clearly designed to be done in the 2nd half of the year. At least they weren't expensive, but I wish they would have been more in line with what is taught when b/c they are not useable to me with the concepts so out of sequence.
