Georgiana Daniels
We're planning a trip to Disneyland, and the tickets with a park-hopper pass seem frightfully high  I don't know all the details because my mom was the one doing this bit of the research. Question: is there a cheaper place to get tickets than the actual Disneyland website?
Jenny in Florida
I haven't any recent experience with Disneyland. However, I can tell you that I am not aware of any reputable sources for tickets to any Disney park that offer signficant discounts. Things like AAA and (I've heard) MouseSavers.com offer token discounts of perhaps 5 - 10%. Beware of any of those booths you see selling left-over unused days on other people's passes. At least here in Florida, it's not legal to re-sell tickets. And, more practically, guests have to do a fingerprint scan the first time they use a pass, meaning it's useless for anyone else after that. Surfside Academy
Do you know anyone in the military? They can purchase tickets on base for significantly cheaper. A friend purchased annual passes for our family so we were able to save $70/ticket.
amyrobynne
FWIW, we were at WDW in March with a 6 day pass and never felt the need for a park hopper pass. I'm glad we didn't spend more $ on those.

Forget-Me-Not
We did DL in March and we were glad we went for park hoppers. DL is much smaller than WDW and you may want to go back and forth. Try getawaytoday.com for tickets. When we bought ours through them they were substantially cheaper than buying tickets direct from Disney. Galatea
Costco has Disney tickets, if you're a member.
Pineapple
If you don't think you will use the hopper option you can purchase the tickets without the hopper option. You can add it at anytime during your trip at the same cost per day.
besroma
Does Disneyland offer Homeschool Days like Disney World? Those tickets are substantially less expensive.
Georgiana Daniels
Costco has Disney tickets, if you're a member. Sadly, we do not have a Costco here. I wonder if Sam's Club has something?

Excellent idea--I will check! Not that they will likely line up with our vacation, LOL!
