DB in NJ
My back hurts so bad today. Even with the muscle relaxer and the Tylenol3, I'm in so much pain.... I really thought it would be better by now. Silly me. I think I overdid it yesterday, and now I'm paying for it. Blasted tears.....here they come again!!

Doran
My back hurts so bad today. Even with the muscle relaxer and the Tylenol3, I'm in so much pain.... I really thought it would be better by now. Silly me. I think I overdid it yesterday, and now I'm paying for it. Blasted tears.....here they come again!! Donna, I'm sorry! I've been somewhere near where you are, and I remember how awful it is! I read earlier where this injury came as a result of something so simple. But, other than the T3 and muscle relaxers I'm wondering what you've tried in terms of therapy, if anything. I found great help from massage and accupunture. I also wore a wrap around back brace thing for awhile, and that helped too. Got it at WalMart (so you know I was desperate...I actually went to That Store). Admittedly, I don't think I was in as much pain as you're in, so your approach may need to be different. Just wondering, and hoping there was something else you could try that might bring you some relief. Meanwhile, sending courage and healing your way. I'm considering calling a chiropractor sometime this week. What's happening now is that the rest of my back and my knees are starting to get sore from compensating for the lower back pain. Jennifer in MI
Oh Donna- I'm so sorry!! I know how hard it is to stay down after an injury to allow yourself time to heal properly. Can you call your doc back and ask for more meds so you're not in pain? Please continue to take it easy!

sdWTMer
So sorry you're in pain, that stinks. I know that my dh has them and when he goes to the gym and swims in the pool and sits in the hot tub, it seems to help alleviate most of the problem. At least it does for him anyway. Hope that you get to feeling better. Hang in there.
