I don't want to get an iPad with the 3G or 4G. Don't have a data cell plan; don't want to get one. WiFi should be sufficient most of the time.

 

DH wants to know: if we did have an iPhone with a data plan, could it be a hotspot for using a WiFi iPad? I think it can, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, but it costs extra. I can't remember how much per month, though.

 

We have one of those little hub things that you bring with you, and it will provide wi-fi for up to 5 devices at 4G and 10 devices at 3G. It costs $50 extra per month through Verizon. The unit itself cost $19.99 after a $50 rebate. If you need more info on the particular model, just let me know! :)
