Jeannie in NJ Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 on Sat prior to Sandy, my dd went to Mt. Laurel with her boyfriend's family. As it became clearer than Sandy would be big and might hit our area, we told her to stay there until after the storm and then when we lost power during the storm we told her to stay there until we got power back on. So she has been there now a week when she was only supposed to be there one night. Well his homecoming dance is tonight so they came down (before we got power on today) to my sil's to get her dress which sil was altering. It was just a quick in and out to pick up the dress (it was actually at 7 am) so we were not there to see her. We have not seen her now in a week and of course are not seeing her get ready for the dance. I texted her to take pictures and she will be back home tomorrow.
