mazakaal
I've been out of internet access for most of January. I came on line last week and thought I'd check the boards and was shocked. What brought this on? And is there any way to access the archived old boards?
Claire
I think security concerns and high volume were behind the change. This format makes it harder for trolls to post here, and also for scammers to cheat people on the sale/swap board. Here is an index to the old boards that I found. Here is a link to the last General Board that I have. You can also access old board posts by doing Google searches. In the search box, specify site:wtmboards.com before your search string. You can eliminate posts by doing a -, such as adding -sale to get rid of sale/swap posts. Alternatively, you can go to Google and select their "advanced search" option. Put in wtmboards.com for the domain field. It takes awhile to get used to this new format, that's for sure!
mazakaal
I had no idea you could do the -sale kind of thing when you google search. I know what you mean about this format being hard to get used to. I sometimes frequent a pastors' wives board that's in this format. I've always liked the old WTM board format. Oh well.
