Blueridge
We refinanced our home several months ago (nightmare), and have so far made 2 payments (on time) on the new loan. Today FedEx delivered a letter that said, "...as part of our ongoing quality control process...we discovered that the Truth in Lending Disclosure was signed but not dated..." They enclosed 3 forms for us to sign and return pronto. So, is this a silly detail, or is it mighty important to the mortgage company? I would hate to see some error as small as this one make our contract null and void, after all the hassles we went through with these people. :glare: ;)
Arcadia
So, is this a silly detail, or is it mighty important to the mortgage company? The onus is on the title company and mortgage company that the Truth in Lending Disclosure was signed and dated when closing your refinance. Not being dated does not void your contract. It is just a bone of contention if you were to dispute the Lending Disclosure.
