ereks mom Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 Dh is a minister, and we've been church planters for the past 9 or 10 years. Can I just say that church planting is really, really hard?!? Our little "house church" group never really flourished (and over the past couple of years, we dwindled to only about 10 regular attenders after a few families were transferred out of the area), and this month, we all made the decision to suspend services for the time being. It was a painful decision, but we are at peace that it was the right thing to do. Dh & ER & I visited another church in our area this morning, and felt really welcomed there. (EK didn't go with us because she was out of town visiting a friend.) We will likely visit again next Sunday. Please pray that our family (and "church family") will find the right place to worship.
