What about those refinance companies that advertise on the radio all the time? Internet lender like Quicken? I'm assume we'll want multiple quotes? KatieJ Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Yes, shop around. We found a local bank doing a quick refinance for $500.00. The interest rate is a tad higher, but we were looking to get it paid off in a few years, so the rate was not as important as the closing costs at that point.
