bettyandbob
On my way home today, I passed a convoy of cherry pickers (6) headed north on I95. I sincerely hope, for my neighbors across the river Pepco is preparing better than they sounded on the interview I heard in car while driving home today. I am grateful that I've never experienced long periods without power. I guess the planning that went into my suburb 40-50 years ago was sound. I still made a lot of ice and we've got water. If you've got a minute I'd appreciate your good thoughts a prayers for my ds and I tomorrow. He's got a medical appointment at Kennedy Kreiger in Baltimore. A 75 minute drive in good weather with little traffic. This slow moving storm could have us in the thick of it for the drive in the morning. lisamarie
So THAT'S why I passed a line of 10+ cherry pickers on their way east on the highway yesterday. I'm in Michigan and it struck me as odd. But I guess they were getting to the area where they'd be needed soon.

They've already cancelled some schools in that area.
