Never popped the girls over the top but I don't bother with cover-ups anymore. Generally the shirt takes care of that and covering up a nursing toddler is an invitation to having the cover-up torn off when I least expect it so everyone gets a good look. I would like for the shock value of openly breastfeeding to go down, and I personally did my part to help some folks along their way of getting over it. I think it draws way more attention and is just a pain. Through 3+ years worth of bfing I think I've used a cover twice and both times just for long enough to latch on.
