We had our first game on Wednesday, and these were some of the answers they gave In which war did the Rough Riders participate? The Civil War What 2 countries in South America have names that end on the letter 'y'? Brazily and Chile What is the 4th largest island that lies just off the east coast of Africa? Australia Given the first line state the book and author - "He was an old man who fished alone in a skiff in the Gulf Stream and he had gone eighty-four days now without taking a fish" Moby Dick by Mark Twain. And yes, in case you are wondering, we did win. This was a school in the country so we won't have an easy time, and so many laughs with our next opponents who are in the city. creekland Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 Cute, though in their defense, it can be difficult to think on their feet in the spotlight (been there, done that, back when I was a teen). I suspect/hope many would have given better answers if they'd had time and weren't under quick pressure. (Maybe not, but I can hope...) Congratulations on your win!!!
