swellmomma
Or perhaps I am just losing my mind. New post on my blog about this (very long winded so I won't post it here, if you want to read it head over to my blog)
Trish
That was a nice post, I enjoyed it! (happy for you, too, that you are getting guidance from God) Just as an aside, I don't know if it's because it's late and my eyes are a little bleary, but I found your typeface a little difficult to read. Could be my computer, though. Anyway, thanks for sharing! :grouphug:

Okay I think I fixed it at least the bolding is gone. Edited October 20, 2012 by swellmomma

meggie
I don't think it's crazy. My self-esteem, core belief system has always been that God will answer prayers for anyone other than myself. This is a major stumbling block for me as it goes pretty much against everything my church teaches. I just had no belief that God would ever care for me enough to actually answer/help. I always thought that asking for anything more would just be pure selfishness on my part. However, this past week I had a clear answer to prayer. There was just no denying it. :grouphug: So no, I don't think you're crazy (although I understand the feeling as I asked DH about 100 times if he thought I was) and I'm so very happy you got some answers. I'm hesitant to share anymore on the GB though, I don't want people mocking my beliefs or anything, so if you'd like to talk more, I'll be over on FB :)
Lovedtodeath
:grouphug: Isn't God amazing! As far as anyone not understanding, I just keep going back to 1 Corinthians
swellmomma
:grouphug: Isn't God amazing! As far as anyone not understanding, I just keep going back to 1 Corinthians 12 It's been a long time since I read that one. Thanks for reminding me of it. I was thinking about the differences in gifts the other. One of the men that leads the bible study speaks in tongues and he is the only one in the group that does. I have always wondered what my spiritual gift is, that will be a question to be answered another time I suppose.

Shamzanne
Just remember - Israel NEVER upheld their end of the covenant. But God never gave up His end of the covenant. He recognizes our weakness and has made promises He will keep no matter how well we think we deserve them.
