butterflymommy
I don't know if anyone is following the horrific case of Jessica Ridgeway, the 10 yr old girl abducted and found murdered in CO. Police are asking for help IDing this cross: http://www.canoncitydailyrecord.com/news/colorado/ci_21812186/westminster-police-cross-jessica-ridgeway It looks like an orthodox cross to me? I know there are christians from many denominations here. Does anyone recognize this? The contact info for the police is in the article. mommaduck
No, that looks to be a generic cross that could belong to anyone, just handcarved or whatnot. Definitely not what would identify as an "EO cross".
BigMamaBird
Looks like something you could pick up at any store. Unless someone can say "Hey! My friend's brother has a cross just like that" I'm afraid they aren't going to get much info out of this.

butterflymommy
I'm surprised the FBI can't trace the supplier by the type of wood and what tools it was carved with. It looks hand carved.
newlifemom
I wish people with mad 'abby'-like skills really existed. Not so much. I am sure that some research could be done, but sadly, that cross does look pretty generic. How awful.
elegantlion
I agree, looks very generic, like one you might pick up in any christian store, usually sold on a black cord. The only other option would something from Mexico or other Central American countries. I've seen a lot of those crosses that people bring back from their trips there. We saw a lot of those type of crosses in Costa Rica, lots of hand craved type items like that.
