Jane
We are starting our science year with PH's Human Biology and Health. One of the first optional labs is to view prepared slides of different types of tissues: red blood cells, liver, nerve, and muscle. I love this activity and would like to include it. Do you know where I can purchase such slides? I'm assuming they won't be too costly.
nukeswife
check out Home Science tools. They have an anatomy slide set that lists for $41.95 and has 16 different prepared slides My kids are still pretty little, but we've been happy with all that we've ordered from this company. Liz Mc in SC
I've purchased from Ward's in the past, but not their slides. They seem to have the best prices and a huge selection too. http://wardsci.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_IG0006650_A_name_E_Cells+of+Your+Body+Microslides http://wardsci.com/search.asp?t=ss&ss=slides&x=7&y=
