Plucky
Ds is hinting he'd like one, but I'd rather wait and give him one at Christmas. Which one is best for the money - I'm cheap. :D
jentancalann
I have a mini and I love it. I like the idea of fresh water for every cup. http://www.keurig.com/mobile/shop/sellGroup.aspx?ID=mini-plus-personal-brewing-system(KeurigRetail) Hmm, link isn't working. I just typed in keurig mini if you want to search.
Carrie12345
How close is his water source? If it's a-ways down the hall, I might spring for the largest tank I could afford. If it's in-room, I wouldn't worry as much about it. When I had my Keurig, I really did wish I had gone with a larger tank, but I'm an extremely lazy and yet impatient person. :tongue_smilie:

LizzyBee
Make sure it's allowed in the dorm room before you buy it.
Arcadia
If you get him a Keurig, get the Keurig My K-cup reusable Coffee Filter too. The K cups cost more than buying his favorite blend of coffee powder or tea leaves.

Maybe I will tell grandma he needs one of those water filtering pitchers so he can have some on hand.

The Keurig needs coffee powder? I didn't know there was a difference. I'm such a coffee dork. LOL

ETA: It is because Keurig is a quick brew system compare to drip coffee. The faster the brew the finer the coffee grounds has to be.
