Sorghum syrup: how do you use it?

I was at the local bulk food store today and the sorghum syrup caught my eye, mostly because it was right next to the maple syrup but only about 1/3 of the price! So I thought I would check here and see if anyone uses it and how you use it.

 

It is my understanding that it is less sweet than maple syrup but not as strong as molasses. Can you use it just in baking to replace other sweeteners? Can you use it like maple syrup and drizzle it over things like pancakes?

 

Since the grocery budget keeps climbing higher and higher I thought I would check into a possible cheaper alternative. Thanks!
