Sherri in MI
Anyone know? Amazon & ebay don't have it. I can't buy it from the publisher (Holt McDougal) because they don't sell to individuals & they don't seem to support that version anymore. I acquired the book for free at a Homeschool book sale. A private school was giving them away, but just the student books. No support materials. The student book has tests for each chapter, but no answer key for the tests. Any ideas anyone? Tara Bara
What is the specific name of the Algebra I text? Is it Algebra I: Concepts and Skills (2001) or something else? I am currently teaching Algebra I at my co-op. We are using the McDougal Littell Concepts and Skills 2004 edition. The Teacher's Edition has all the answers in it for the homework and the tests. I had to go to the Holt McDougal site and find my book. Once I clicked on the version I was using, it took me to a page with the resource materials and ISBN numbers. I copied the ISBN and looked it up on Amazon. They were selling it used from many different sellers. Try that! :001_smile:
wapiti
I'd assume the answers to tests in the student text are in the TM. It looks like this may be the TM: http://www.amazon.com/McDougal-Littell-Algebra-Teachers-Edition/dp/0395978882/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1349926082&sr=8-16&keywords=McDougal+Littell+Algebra+1+2001 You could try Follett http://www.fes.follett.com/follett_fes_general/bookdetails.cfm?bID=646055&bc=Used&P=1&isbn=NONE&L=0&ShareID=0&FLP=0&PR=0&CFID=21111995&CFTOKEN=33729556 though it would be more economical to work the test answers out for yourself. If there was some other reason you wanted the TM, such as answers to other problems in the book, maybe it would be more worthwhile. I didn't know I needed the Teacher's Manual for the answer key. Thanks for the Follett link - it is much less expensive. You are right - it is more economical to work it out myself - I hadn't really thought of that! :glare: Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not sure I could toward the end of the book though. I'll have to look. I went through Trig in high school but that was eons ago & even some aspects of Algebra 1 are a bit of a strain now. I guess I had just hoped they had a separate answer key. I didn't realize I'd have to get the entire teacher's manual just to have the test answers. This is the first time I've used a text that was written specifically for schools!
