fairfarmhand
I spent 5 days in New Orleans. I ate AMAZING food there. And I didn't hold back. I ate what I wanted to order. I lost 5 lbs. Here's how I think it worked. We ate 2 times a day, but they were largish meals. We sat down, took our time and enjoyed our food. I knew when I was full and stopped then. We walked for hours each day. Every meal was at least 10-15 minute walk to and from the hotel. I seriously understand the "French Women Don't Get Fat." mindset now. I am hoping that I can keep it up and maintain the loss, and hopefully lose more.
justLisa
Isn't that crazy?! That happens to me on vaca. I end up walking for hours a day and eating one big meal maybe two. So now you know we just all need to live on vacation
fairfarmhand
:iagree: I think too that not having free access to food all day was very good for me.

Live2Ride
We love it here and the food is awesome, but trust me...don't live here. You will not lose it, :tongue_smilie:
mellifera33
Hmm--I have read that increased stress is associated with weight gain. Perhaps the laid back vacation attitude also contributes to weight loss?
