CupOCoffee
Is anyone here interested in participating in a virtual classroom for NaNo? We did one last year, and Dd was looking forward to participating in one this year; but I don't participate on the forum that did it last year anymore. It's pretty cool, the kids can see each others' progress and cheer each other on. This is the Young Writers NaNo. She will be starting her workbook tomorrow; late start, but we were not sure we would do the workbook again this year. So any takers on a Hive NaNo classroom? letsplaymath
What is a virtual classroom? We might be interested. 13yo dd has done Nano for several years (see her book in my siggy), and she enjoyed comparing notes with a friend one year. She's in Nano-mode already, cutting way back on other schoolwork and typing frantically to finish the second book in her fantasy series by the end of October, so she can start book 3 with a blank slate in November. Though she might decide that she's tired of that series and write on another topic, since she always has way more ideas than she could ever find time to use... EppieJ
Ds is doing NaNoWriMo for the third time this year. He already has a classroom tho, IRL with our PPP. It's a great suggestion tho. Hope you get some takers. The kids always have such a blast encouraging each other, giving each other ideas, and just being together to work on their novels.
