CalicoKat
Does it feel crowded and busy when you're finally on board and on the way? Like it does shopping at Walmart or the Mall when it's busy?
saraha
Yes and no. Like the corridors and elevators weren't crowded, but the pool and activities were pretty busy. Likewise the casinos and shows. Depending on what kind of excursions you do, it can feel either way. If you stay on the ship while most everyone else is off on excursions, you will have luxurious space. Kindof expect that feeling and then you will be pleasantly surprised to find pockets of space.
Trish
Does it feel crowded and busy when you're finally on board and on the way? Like it does shopping at Walmart or the Mall when it's busy? I HATE Walmart most of the time, and find it positively unbearable when it is busy. There are areas of a cruise ship that feel like that, but for the most part it was comfortable. I'm notorious for finding less crowded spaces, and obscure ways to get places, though. But we are going on another cruise next year, so it can't have been too overcrowded or I wouldn't be looking forward to it.
edelweiss
Well, even when I am in crowded spots on the cruise ship, it NEVER feels like Walmart. (Is anything as bad as being at Walmart? ;)) There are definitely times and places where it is more crowded-- when everyone is going into the auditorium for a show (or leaving one), in the pool areas during "peak" times, particularly on sea days, etc. But overall, the cruise ships are big enough that people can spread out. We make it a point to try to do things at opposite times of most others. It helps. Overall, I don't find that the crowds on the ship bother me too much. SKL
I found it very comfortable (and I am NOT a people person). The only thing I did not like was the formal restaurant, where you had to be in a certain place at a certain time and choose from limited options. It took me a couple of days to discover the buffet place that offered food all day long and ice cream & coffee 24/7. :) We went on excursions every day, so that probably helped keep us from going stir crazy.
