please help me keep my tootsies toasty

Recommended Posts

I found some socks at Costco last year that I truly love! KBell Marino wool socks. They are not itchy, and fit on my foot nicely so I can wear my Boston Birks easily. At costco they come in packs of two. One pair is striped and the other is solid with a different color toe. Not cheap tho.

I have also found them on Amazon and Ebay.

Anything fleece or wool. You can find them in hiking stores, and sometimes at Marshalls although I've not had as much luck lately as in the past. Campmor.com is another option; they often feature last year's designs.

(As if your socks had to be up-to-the-minute fashionable!) You can also knit some - well, some folks can anyway!

They aren't cheap, but if they are of quality they should wear well.

My favorite socks are 'Smartwool' brand. You can find them online or in sporting good stores. They are wool, but they are washable, and they are very soft. Not like the normal scratchy wool socks...which my feet do not like. Like another poster said, try to find some that aren't too tight around the tops!

We love "fuzzy socks" for at home lounging. This is one of my favorite types:

Seriously, they feel so good on your feet and they're very warm. Not so much for wearing out and about with shoes, though. :)

Thick, fuzzy fleece socks! They are cotton, I think, and very lightweight. But incrediby warm. I think they'd be too thick with shoes, but I wear them to bed and around the house with slippers. My feet even get hot with them on sometimes.

I think I got some pairs at Costco, and then some just at CVS or other pharmacy.
