3littlekeets
I love Naturino, but I'm looking for other brands. I need small girl (size 11, or 12) so they need to make them in those sizes! Thanks
Sugarfoot
I just bought "good" shoes for both of the older kids. They needed more support. These are the same athletic shoes that I wear, and I just found out that they had them in kids' sizes! I hope I spelled it right...:001_rolleyes:
Harriet Vane
Birkenstocks definitely offer the most support of any shoe I have tried on. It's actually a bit much for me at this point, so I do not wear them. I wear Chacos and LOVE them. The footbed feels exactly like my custom orthotics. I recently bought dd a pair of Tevas that are not quite as supportive as my Chacos but still do provide some arch support. Tevas have various footbeds, so you would want to try some on to see which one suits. Less supportive, but still very good for many people are Danskos and Merrells. Staci in MO
I don't know if it's the same in children's sizes, but it might be a factor. I just bought my ds a pair of New Balance shoes and he really likes them.

Sugarfoot
Staci's right--Asics are a bit narrow, which is probably why we like them--sort of narrow feet with high arches. We can't wear New Balance because they're all too wide.:)
