Mama2two
Anyone use any of this series? I am looking for a nature study curriculum I can use year round. Preferrably something with some reading and an activity already laid out. Thinking something I can use once a week. https://www.queenshomeschooling.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=71_72_74&zenid=4e4a9bf3792acce319889f3a41fcb003

Susie in MS
I have not used any of these. I do have the public domain copy of Parables From Nature which I like very much. I am using it as part of AO Y1 with my 2nd grader. You can go here and read (or download ) the book to see if you like the style. Some complain that it is above their kid's head. I have not had that problem. I looked over the Queens sample lessons for this book and they look VERY simplistic. We were doing this stuff in K and 1st with FIAR. Now I don't know. Maybe the other lessons have a bit more depth to them? I do like the spiral binding and that it gives you ideas of how to expand scientifically on the reading. Mama2two
bumping this up. I didn't end up using this, but considering it again, anyone use this? I was looking at the Parables for next year (4th grade) for something different. Worried it may be a little light for my science loving kids. Any reviews?
