Queens Discovering Nature Series

I have not used any of these. I do have the public domain copy of Parables From Nature which I like very much. I am using it as part of AO Y1 with my 2nd grader. You can go here and read (or download ) the book to see if you like the style. Some complain that it is above their kid's head. I have not had that problem.

I looked over the Queens sample lessons for this book and they look VERY simplistic. We were doing this stuff in K and 1st with FIAR. Now I don't know. Maybe the other lessons have a bit more depth to them? I do like the spiral binding and that it gives you ideas of how to expand scientifically on the reading.
