starwarsmomma
My son is looking to make some boy scout items as a fundraiser for his eagle project. He has a really neat idea of what he wants to do. It's all his own idea, and he's VERY excited to do it! He really needs a BSA EMBLEM Leather stamp, one that looks like this: We have searched everywhere and cannot find one. It seems they are discontinued, and cant find any used... Anyone know where we could get one? Thanks!
Lily_Grace
Would the plain Fleur de Lis work? If not, this listing has one in the lot.
justasque
Hmmm... Etsy has this neat Native American leather stamping set. This kit has the one you want, but it's uber pricy. This has the wolf stamp. Aha - here it is! Or put the word out in your council. Surely someone - perhaps at camp - has the one you want. Edited October 2, 2012 by askPauline Better option found. starwarsmomma
I called the council-- the receptionist was less than helpful. Didn't even take our info or ask around. I saw that one on ebay, but at $51 with 3 days left, it's a bit pricey. Was hoping for just that one. The fleur wont work for what he wants to do. The eagles are for eagles only, he wants the BSA stamp, as that will work for anyone in cub scouts or boy scouts, or proud parents/grandparents... I promise to show ya'll when he makes one. :D
justasque
<still looking> Here's an OA one... Here's a nice fleur-de-lis. Here's a cheaper fleur-de-lis. There are several nice Girl Scout ones!
justasque
The other option would be to get a handy person to make you one. Any retired type who does model airplanes or trains can probably do it. You'd need to make a mold, either from an existing item or carved, then fill it with lead or pewter.
