Holly IN
I have a question. If you have a very active TeA life and have a sleep number....did it affect your TeA? We are wanting a sleep number really bad but have refrained due to our concerns with TeA movement. Holly
Lolly
I hate sleep number...but it made no difference in that area. If you like to sleep on the softer side of the numbers just increase the firmness to a more desirable platform for activity.;)
In the Rain
Why would it matter? Are you thinking the bad will be injured?:confused: I don't understand.
Holly IN
No not the bed. The actual movement would be affected instead of sinking in....in commercials they talk about the firmness and how it works so with the memory thing....I hope I am making sense...:001_huh: Holly
Holly IN
Lolly Why do you hate sleep number? Holly
Denisemomof4
I absolutely LOVE my SN. We have no issues at all. If you prefer the bed to be at a lower number you can just temporarily increase it. A friend of mine does.
KidsHappen
Plus there is a ridge between the two sides which means no middle of the bed activities or one partner snuggling the other because they will end up on the ridge and roll off one way or the other. Of course, you do run into that with other bed but the ridge is not as hard.
AK_Mom4
My sleep number bed definitely doesn't have a hard ridge in the middle. It's about 10 years old now though. And, no.... it definitely doesn't cause a problem with teA arrangements. If anything, it's been a positive force since DH's back doesn't hurt and I sleep better now..:D
DB in NJ
I hate my sleep number bed. Ever time dh gets out of bed, I roll downhill onto his side. This has had an effect on teA, but nothing too difficult or disruptive.
In the Rain
Ok, I see. I thought maybe you were "very active" and worried about popping the bed or something.
In the Rain
I hate my sleep number bed. Ever time dh gets out of bed, I roll downhill onto his side. Hmm. We've experienced the opposite. This is the first bed we've had where I don't notice dh getting out of bed in the morning. I do notice any tossing or turning that tugs on the covers though. We have a king size, if that makes a difference.

We did buy the extra matress top with stuffing and memory foam but even that couldn't cushion a hard bump. I hate my sleep number bed. Ever time dh gets out of bed, I roll downhill onto his side. I thought maybe you were "very active" and worried about popping the bed or something. We have a sleep number. Because it can be set anywhere from very soft to something resembling the floor, there really isn't an issue. From your second post, it sounds like you are actually more worried about memory foam as a topper. If so, that could be answered by anyone with a memory foam topper on their mattress. It wouldn't matter if it was a sleep number. We don't have memory foam because I can't stand it.:lol::lol::lol: Hmm. We've experienced the opposite.
