AK_Mom4
It's snowing on me today. Just a few inches, but I'm really not ready. All the winter clothes and boots are still put away. I never raked the leaves or put away my flower pots. And DD18 just texted me from college to let me know it's 80 degrees where she is and she's nearly out of sunscreen. I'm going out for chocolate and a cup of expensive coffee. Anyone want me to bring them back some?
JessReplanted
Wow! That was a quick fall. We just moved from PA to TX, and I'm trying to re-learn seasons as I've always known them. No snow here - we are still wearing shorts.

(I'll gladly take a coffee though!) :D

Mom-ninja.
Well you do live in AK. :D You could come visit me in FL. It's still hot here and will be for a long time.
HappyCrazyMama
Yikesabee....our leaves haven't even fallen yet. Ours either! I'm enjoying these last warm days. It will be too cold soon enough. I'd pass out if I saw snow already. I should not get any for another month at least.:)
momtoamiracle
I'd gladly send you some heat and humidity from louisiana!
Starr
I always think of the first snow as a reminder to find the winter clothes. I hope you get some warmer weather before winter really sets in. And yes I'd love a cup of coffee. :) The leaves are turning here and the temperature is dropping at night. I'm refusing to turn on the heat. it's the time of year that I feel like a bad land lord.

Juniper
Can we trade? I would gladly move back to Anchorage and you can have Houston. :) I am pretty content right now, since we have had two days of rain and it is cooler. In all reality, I could move there or Canada and be happy for the rest of my life.
blakereese
Ugh. So not ready for winter. We are having a lovely fall, but I know it won't last long. I'd love to join you for chocolate and coffee, though!!
Tammi K
Do you still have any? I was in Anchorage this morning/afternoon for skating and lunch (Yeah, Taco King!)and most of it was melted. I expected it to be gone when we got home (ER) but we still have quite a bit all over the yard. Poor kids, DH made them go pull/cut all of the plants left in the garden. At least he went out to help them so it doesn't feel so much a punishment as a job. On the up side for us, going into the ice rink was now actually warmer than it was outside! swellmomma
ugh! If you have snow now we will have it in 3 weeks. I had better finish cleaning out the garage and winterizing the yards.
fourcatmom
Wish I could bottle up some of California sunshine and send it to you. We are still ranging in the high 90's here and I am so tired of it! :tongue_smilie:
