Bang!Zoom!
Have a hint where to find a set of templates for this? I'd like to find a comprehensive set with everything from an address book to serial numbers to warranties, accounts, calendar and everything in between all at once. I don't want to keep a ledger on the internet, but want blank pages to fill in. I saw some around on Donna Young, but I'm wondering if there is anyplace that does it all at once without modifying forms and such. It seems like I've seen something sort of like this once, but cannot for the life of me think what they are called. I think I'm just on overload. Any thoughts? ILiveInFlipFlops
http://organizedhome.com/printable/household-notebook If you google things like "household notebook forms" or "control journal templates," you'll come up with tons. HomeschoolMamaOfTwo
I don't know of a place that has them all at once but I have gathered a ton of them from just googling "household notebook" and I just picked which ones I wanted to include. I can send them to you in a zip file if you want to send me your email address. They are not all the same though, I gathered them from difference places, so there isn't a uniform look to them. There are a bunch here: http://printables.yourway.net/
Bang!Zoom!
Christmas Cards for life SWA - that is *exactly* what I've been looking for online for an hour. God Bless You, my brain is working again, what a sweet-heart! :grouphug: http://organizedhome.com/household-notebook/dividers-for-household-notebook Perfect! Belacqua
Funny you'd mention that today, as I just added a page to my Alien Abduction Binder (has all the information we'd need if the person who knows it is abducted by aliens, you see). I do know how to turn off the water to my house, but I could see myself forgetting in the chaos of a burst pipe or some such disaster. Now the [absurdly easy] instructions are memorialized in the AAB. I guess I need a better section title than How To Do Stuff You Actually Already Know How To Do But Are Currently Too Freaked Out To Execute...that won't fit on the little tab. Bang!Zoom!
This is a really, really close list of headers I recall. They used to sell these huge books that were titled something very specific, very old school. Maybe in the early days of Franklin Planners? Anyway, they were household instruction books of some kind that you'd fill out and give instructions in the event you die (or zombies take over I guess) - they were really awesome, I had one once upon a time. Seems to me I got that through a financial planner at the time. The similar header list is here: http://www.unce.unr.edu/publications/files/cy/other/fs9631.pdf

I so miss needing a Franklin Planner. Just not a priority to spend that much these days. I felt like an organizing guru with one though. *sigh*
KidsHappen
No, but I definitely need one, preferably one with household chores schedules.

marbel
No, but I definitely need one, preferably one with household chores schedules. Donnayoung.org has a household chore schedule that you can modify to fit your needs. It's broken down by daily, weekly, and seasonal tasks. Go to this link and look for "Basic Household Cleaning List" http://donnayoung.org/household/fullsize/housekeeping-planner.htm
elegantlion
I'm thinking one at half-size would be ideal for recording important information you don't need everyday, like serial numbers etc. Half-size would fit in our safe Or you could use a camera and save a virtual file as well. Take pictures of the item, using the date stamp, the serial number, maybe even a virtual copy of the receipt. Then put it all on a SD card or flash drive. I've been trying to make my own "all in one" for years, but it just isn't logical. The size needed to fit ecerything makes it way to bulky for daily use. Part of my decluttering project involves making up multiple booklets for various categories. On the other hand, it could just be me, lol. My homeschool-only planner takes up an enormous 4" binder! :001_huh: (That's how cluttered my home AND brain are!)

I needed this Thursday as strange noises started emanating from every bathroom in the house. And then the septic system started backing up.....:ack2: I could remember that the septic man had blue eyes and curly black hair, but I could NOT remember his name or find his number!! Thankfully dh was in town, not in a meeting, and could break free to help me. I told him I need an emergency book for when I can't think!!!
