Stacia
TJ's nut butters recall is expanding to include more products.... http://www.traderjoes.com/about/customer-updates-responses.asp?i=86 I have one of these that's been in my fridge for a bit. I've eaten about half of it already & have not gotten sick. Do I really need to discontinue eating it or can I assume that my half-eaten jar is ok? JumpyTheFrog
Why risk it to save a few dollars? You can return it to the store.

Wendi
I would guess if yours was contaminated, you'd be sick by now. Thanks for posting this, because I was wondering if my new unopened jar of the one with flaxseeds would be recalled, too, and sure enough . . . I'll have to take it in. Glad I hadn't already opened and used any of it; I bought it a few days ago, before the recall was announced. Wendi
Stacia
Why risk it to save a few dollars? You can return it to the store. It wasn't to save $. I know it can be returned. I figured if it was contaminated, I would have been sick already. It seems a waste to toss it if it's not bad, plus I won't be able to buy more of it for an unspecified amount of time (until investigation is done, etc...). That's why I was asking. RoughCollie
A contaminated jar isn't necessarily evenly contaminated throughout the product. You may still get sick if you continue to eat the product. Thanks. That's what I was wondering (and asked in a poorly-worded question, I think).
