Renthead Mommy
I know you can not use soap to clean out a tank, but can you use vinegar? The water here is so hard that is hard water build up on the sides of the tank as well as all the hoses and filter parts. It has been empty for awhile so you can really see it. We are planning on new fish in the near future. So is vinegar safe?
Unicorn.
Yes, use vinegar. Wet paper towels w/ vinegar, and let them sit pressed against the glass for several hours. You may need to re-wet them periodically.
Renthead Mommy
Thank you. I actually already found the info and did it. Sometimes I forget you can just go onto the internet and find these things out for yourself instead of asking here first! LOL! I'm thinking I need to go to bed.
