ALB
My dc have been using HWOT for a few years. Although they like it, my dd has pretty bad handwriting. I've heard so many good things about Abeka handwriting, but I'm a bit confused about what exactly to buy. It looks like there is a writing tablet and then a Writing With Phonics for each grade level. Do both explain letter formation, or is there one that is better to start with? I'm interested in getting cursive for both my dc (6 and almost 5). Thanks! jayb842
I would call Abeka. We use it for 4th grade. It's our first year to use it. I really like it.
Thia
The writing tablet is what it says, a tablet. Most of it is blank. You can just buy writing tablets at wal mart or target. The Writing with Phonics has activities and such, so you will want to buy that. You will also want the TM. My 7 year old and 6 year old have pretty nice handwriting from using Abeka.
