HSMom2One
I'm planning to do a hands on art history project with 10th graders soon, and would like to know if anyone has suggestions, resources, pictures or whatever for creating dioramas on ancient Greek/Roman architecture. Has anyone done this before? Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have to offer. :bigear: Blessings, Lucinda

I hope you get some good ideas so I can steal them. ;) What we plan to do four our end of the year project is use the molds I found on the Internet to make Roman Arches out of plaster. RhondaM. Candid
I have a couple: Two eboooks: http://www.enrichment4you.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_3_71&products_id=24&osCsid=6d10376f9cc5226c8c4df30d2e169493 http://www.enrichment4you.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_3_71&products_id=34&osCsid=6d10376f9cc5226c8c4df30d2e169493 I have the first one and there is a lot of detailed information on the architecture in the 14 pages plus fairly solid instructions using sheet Styrofoam and dry wall compound to make the facade. Free paper models of some classic architecture is available from Canon: http://cp.c-ij.com/en/contents/2025/list_15_1.html I'd look at this book for a more generalized view: http://www.amazon.com/The-Ancient-City-Classical-Athens/dp/0195215826/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348420602&sr=8-1&keywords=peter+connolly
Kareni
I recall that my daughter's (out of the home) Latin I class made an edible Roman road. I don't recall the contents of the various layers but I do remember that it was delicious. Regards, Kareni
