NicoleJ
Can anyone suggest a board or boxed type game for a K'er for math? :) I have looked on Rainbow Resource and there are thousands of them! Looking for something that will appeal from Gr K-3. Thanks!
Sew happily ever after
Have you checked out the Right Start math games? Huge variety and lots of different levels and topics. Would last all through elementary and uses the cards that come with the set.
Farrar
The Right Start games are great. But what do you want this game for? If it's something like a gift, that would be different. Also, the range K-3 is sort of big in terms of math. My 3rd graders no longer play many of the math games we had for K. And we play new games, like 24, which they couldn't have played in K. For individual games, we like Rat-a-tat-cat and Zeus on the Loose. And we really like the Muggins games. Many smaller kids like Sum Swamp (we never got into that one though). alisoncooks
We like shape puzzles for that age. The McRuffy site has a lot that we like (pattern blocks, puzzle cubes, pentominoes). My 4 and 6 year old also liked Blokus, though the 4yo didn't make it through the whole game...

Arcadia
Monopoly, good for any ages. We sometimes use two dice for monopoly.
