HollyDay
Today I added more carb and I think that must be what I've been lacking. Breakfast was protein and veggie, which has been fine all along. Midmorning snack was about 1/4 cup granola (big change, IF I had midmorning snack, it was cheese). Lunch was multi bean and hamburger chili which filled me up, but gave me lots of energy for the afternoon. Afternoon snack was 1/4 cup peanuts. I've had MUCH more energy today than I have had in the past 3 weeks. It must be the carbs. I'm planning a salad with grilled chicken for dinner. Still no fruit added in yet. Still sound reasonable????
Soror
If it is working for you that is good! We all have different needs, so if you feel good and everything else is well I say go with it.
HollyDay
I hope this is the solution. I cannot drag myself around as worn out as I have been.
Tiramisu
I need carbs, too. My brain really did not seem to function as well when I tried to go low carb. We all need some carbs, and I think I burn through them quickly. A balanced meal of fat, protein, and carbs seems to work best for me.
