How many pages of math mammoth 2 do you do in a day?

2 pages a day should be plenty. We don't do that much. I think I have my kids do 6 pages per week.

My daughter voluntarily does 3 pages a day so I leave her to go ahead with that. My son can't handle more than 2 pages a day so I go through and cross out a few things that he doesn't need extra practice on.

We did two a day, four days a week, and finished no problem. Some sections we could do more (like clocks) bc there was less on a page.

We are just starting MM3A and MM1A with my boys. My 6yold doing 1A does two sheets a day easily but my 8 yr old is really struggling to get two done. My 8 yr old takes forever to get two done and complains about it takig too long, too many questions etc. I think I am going to slow down a little - even if it means not getting done by the end of the year. We are working on regrouping twice and three times right now and he goes through the questions at a fairly slow pace. Maybe we can speed back up when we hit clocks and measurement which he likes a lot more.

This is what we did, though we were accelerating at the time.

 

I did not assign all the problems, especially if there were 3 pages. My son is writing phobic, but doing half-2/3 of the problems wasn't so bad.

My DS does 4-5 pages of MM2 a day. This is "easy" and pretty quick for him to do though, he's not covering anything new. I'm hoping to slow him down to 2 pages once we get to MM3A and include Beast Academy.

Last year (2A) we did about 2 pages a day but it became a struggle and took a long time. For 2B we slowed down and are now doing 1-1.5, 2 only on easy pages like shapes or measuring.

We do this as well. Sometimes we have to slow down for dd. I'm anticipating we won't have to d that for ds.

Same here. On occasion if ds is having a really hard time with a particular lesson (ie: last week learning 10 till 6, 20 past 5, etc.) we'll slow down, but generally we don't have too much difficulty doing one full lesson at a time. However, we only do MM four times each week and usually take the fifth day off for outside classes, field trips, etc.

Oh wow this makes me feel much better. We do between 1 and 3 pages a day depending on DS' understanding of the topic and attention span at the time. I was feeling like we weren't doing enough, looks like we are. That being said we'll skip entire exercises if DS shows he already knows the materiel.

We've always done 3-4 pages a day of mixed topics from MM2 and MM3. But, I do a lot of the writing for him. The math comes very easily for him but the writing, not so much.

My kids do one page per day at this point. If I tried to get them to do any more, I'd have a mutiny on my hands.
