Remudamom Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 I replanted my planters on the front porch because it's time to switch to fall colors. I take out the old flowers. I dig a new hole exactly the size of the new plant. I know it's exactly because I took the new plant out of it's container and filled the container with dirt from the planter. And compressed it. I put the new plant in the hole. Not big enough. So I dig some more and scootch the dirt around and finally get the plant in. I fill in around the plant with the dirt from the planter that I had scooped into the plant's original container. Not enough dirt to sufficiently cover the &($%# plant.
