Update...Dh's restored vision!

Recommended Posts

First, thank you all for the kind words of congratulations. :grouphug:

Dh has had the new contact now for five days and he REALLY CAN SEE! It's totally amazing! The contact is a bit uncomfortable but as dh wears it more often, it becomes less irritating. Putting in/taking out the contact takes some time. It's not like a regular contact when you raise it to your eye. He actually has to fill it with fluid and lower his eye to the contact. When I look closely at his eye, I can see the liquid between the contact and the cornea. Weird! He has a 60 day period in which to decide whether or not it will work for him; he can even have adjustments made for fit.

I watched him two nights ago looking at things differently. The indentations in bread, the uneven spread of peanut butter, the cracks in the ground, the ripple of leaves on a tree... It's truly wonderful! Glory to God!

Amen! I'm so glad he can see now!
