paysensmom
I have printed the workbooks for both 3rd and 6th grade. It says I can use the teacher's guide for any program. The books for the teachers after each grade are different. The 3rd grade teacher version has fewer pages than the (ak) one for the 6th grade. Do you know if I need to print both of them? zoo_keeper
Where does it say that you could use the teacher's guide for any program? That doesn't make sense seeing that the sentences in the 3rd grade materials will be from different sources than those in the 6th grade materials. Do you have 2 children working on separate levels? If so, you would need to print the answer key that matches each child's level & grade combo.
Halcyon
if you have an ipad you can just put the answer keys on notability. The colors are important, and printing all that could be pricey. alternatively, you can just check them from your computer at the end of each week/day. zoo_keeper
alternatively, you can just check them from your computer at the end of each week/day. This is actually what I do. I've only printed out the workbooks, leaving the AK on my desktop. So far (Level 1, Grade 2) there have only been a handful of sentences that gave me pause (I'm sure this will increase in frequency as we progress, however!). RootAnn
I didn't print the Answer Key (AK). DD likes coming with me to check "how we did" after each page. We are doing 2-3 pages per 30 minute sitting right now, but I suppose it'll slow down as we mark more things. I have found a few "mistakes" in the AK (mostly inconsistency of marking "not" in the verb phrase - sometimes he marks it & sometimes he doesn't). I keep in mind his comment that we won't get everything right & we just discuss our differences & move on. It is working well. Printing the AK in color would have been way to pricey.
