We are trying to sell our house, a car, and some furniture. What are your best tips for getting things sold? We think we have them priced reasonably. If you haven't sold on either before, review the 'scam' info before you do so that you can weed out the problem buyers ahead of time. If you don't want to do that, you can see if you have any local consignment stores for the furniture and an auto sales lot (some take consigments). You decrease you profits, but also the hassle. An auctioneer will do all three at the same time, on location, if you really need to get this done. The prices won't be high though. Otherwise, I'd do Craigslist. That's how everything happens here.
