WABeth Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I feel silly asking this question, but I have never used the sale/swap boards before. I am interested in selling an item and I notice most people post a price for their item with ppd after the amount (i.e. $30ppd). I assume this means postage paid, but do not understand if that means postage will be paid by the seller or it must be paid by the buyer in addition to the amount listed. Thanks in advance! Quote
AllSmiles Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 postage paid by the seller - don't feel silly. When I first used the for sale boards I thought ppd meant postage plus delivery (that doesn't even really make sense). I offered to buy something for $15ppd and I asked the seller how much more postage was going to be, and she said it was included in the price, hence $15ppd. :) HTH! Quote
WABeth Posted July 17, 2008 Author Posted July 17, 2008 postage paid by the seller - don't feel silly. Thank you! I've been on these boards a long time, but some abbreviations still escape me. Quote
