Another tip--consider a longer word and you might hear the ending pronounced. Existential - existent. Vigilante - vigilant. Also pay attention to c's & g's--it has to be innocent, it can't be innocant. AAS Level 7 has 3 steps covering ance/ence tips, a lot of which relate to ant/ent endings. This web page is very helpful.
