workingmom
4 years ago when we did SOTW 1 for the first time, someone had listed a sentence to go with each chapter which was helpful to have ds practice his handwriting, looking for that link again for younger ds now starting sotw1. junebug
I don't know if this is what you were looking for or not. And it has been posted in the past on this forum by the blog owner I think. But this is what I found. I did a search for copywork for SOTW book 1. You have to go to each chapter and find the copywork link. Here is Chapter One....Look for the link that says Copywork page to download. http://runofthemillfamily.blogspot.com/2009/09/sotw-chapter-1-earliest-people.html and the shortcut to SOTW post that lists books, movies, images, and copywork pages by chapter.... http://runofthemillfamily.blogspot.com/search/label/ancient%20civilizations Edited September 14, 2012 by junebug
junebug
How about this one. I did a search here on the boards and found one of your old posts that said something about the copywork and that someone named Jennefer had done it. http://smoothstonesacademy.blogspot.com/2007/07/history-ancients.html Simple one sentence copywork sentences for SOTW volume one. She mentions in her blog that someone else did part of it and allowed her to post it and she did they rest.
Chris in VA
Trivium Academy used to have them on her blog, but IDK if they are still up. Hannah's Homeschool Helps yahoo group has sentences, too. She also has cards for timelines and those VP-like cards for learning, all for free (printable). They are GREAT! Each perfectly coordinates with SOTW, and they are really pretty. She includes the template, too, so you can make your own cards if there are people or events you want to add in. You could also use the review cards for sentences (the ones in the AG).
