Stacia
If I have a recipe that calls for flour & what I have at home is self-rising flour, will this be ok to use? The recipe also calls for some baking soda -- would I still need to add that if I'm using self-rising flour? Thanks for any help! (I'm cooking challenged, if you couldn't tell.... ;):tongue_smilie::lol:)
Flowing Brook
The answer depends on what you are making.

tots2teens
If you use self rising flour, just don't add the salt & baking soda the recipe calls for.
