scrapbabe
We got our first Top Secret Adventures in the mail last week, and my 7 and 12 year old had so much fun sitting down with dad each day this week and solvings the mystery. I like the idea of once a month something fun and different coming that kind of breaks the monotony and gives us a fun project. I just wondered what else is out there? It doesn't necessarily have to be a subcription, but just something that is an "extra" that you pull out from time to time to add a little fun to your homeschool day/week. Maybe even a fun project that you drop school for to work on for a week or two. Or a great unit study that lasts a few weeks. We are loving out regular curriculum, but I thought it would be fun to add different shorter things into the mix. Does that make sense? QuirkyKidAcademy
Thanks for this post! I ordered the first Top Secret Adventures last night. I *think* DS will love that - he is really into detective stuff right now. He'd be Encyclopedia Brown if we lived in an actual neighborhood. Stuart
I believe highlights has other similar products. Check the website. Do you feel they are worth the price? They are a little pricey.
