DaisyMay Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 I placed an order with Sonlight last Wednesday morning. It's been over a week and it's still not been shipped! I can't believe that it takes so long to ship an IG and 5 books. When I contacted them they said it takes 7-10 days to get an order ready to ship. I've not ordered from them before, but I'm very disappointed in waiting so long. Are they always this slow? Are that many people really ordering in September? If so, they often wait to ship the order until the backordered item comed in unless it will be an extended time. You can check backorder status on the website. What they have said on their forum is that they are still busy with orders, but most of their summer help (typically college students) have gone back to school. So--ordering level is still high but fewer staff to fulfill them. I typically order in June and have my order within about 3 days. Like the others mentioned, I think it that time of year. MUS is usually super fast too but once I ordered in June and it took forever. Weeks.
